Presentation on Baby Brian August 24, 2026

Fr. Axtmann will share the story of Baby Brian Gallagher who was born and died during childbirth in 1982. He was buried at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery near Highmore, South Dakota.

When his remains were to be moved to the Black Hills National Cemetery, it was discovered that his body had not decomposed. His story has touched countless hearts and is seen by many as a powerful sign of God’s love and presence in our midst.
