"Welcoming Jesus- Becoming Disciples"
Advent Retreat Directed by Fr. Gregory Tschakert
In this weekend retreat, we will take a deeper dive into the identity of Jesus as revealed to us in the Scriptures and the Tradition of the Church. Then from this identity we will consider how our faith in Jesus calls us to discipleship in every facet of our lives. This retreat will be focused on the life and ministry of Jesus and will also include the celebration of Mass and the opportunity for Confession and spiritual counsel. There will also be adequate time for quiet and the pleasure of sharing meals with other retreatants.
Fr. Gregory Tschakert has been a Sioux Falls Diocese priest for over 40 years and has served in parishes, parish schools, diocesan administration and the diocesan marriage tribunal. He is a frequent leader of spiritual events at the Abbey of the Hills.
